To have courage for whatever comes in life — everything lies in that.

“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” - Marie Curie
At Regina Coeli, we aim to have a science curriculum that encourages curiosity and growth. Where children can begin to acquire the knowledge and skills to enable them to be well-informed citizens of the world, ready to take on the scientific and technological challenges the future might bring. We intend to provide our children with a knowledge-rich curriculum built upon the foundation stones of physics, biology and chemistry. They are encouraged to develop an understanding of the nature, processes and methods of scientific exploration through investigations, which are stimulating, relevant and compound their learning. Our curriculum encourages children to have an enquiry-based approach to the subject, one which asks questions and requires them to utilise their knowledge and skills, to work together, to interpret data and analysis their findings. By having a well-balanced and carefully considered programme of study, we hope to ensure pupils are equipped to appreciate that the seeds of scientific curiosity, planted at Regina Coeli, coupled with our Catholic faith, can make a difference to ensure an equitable and sustainable future for all.
