Parents and Friends Association
Regina Coeli School has a very active Parents and Friends Association. All parents of the school are automatically members of this Association and the Committee is elected annually at the AGM and currently consists of 12 parents from the school. The committee send out regular newsletters to update parents on forthcoming events and other relevant information.
PAF runs many fund raising events and activities throughout the school year, such as Quizzes, the Christmas Craft Fayre, Summer Fayre, discos etc, which are always successful and well supported. Not only do these social occasions raise much-needed funds for the school, they also help reinforce the sense of community amongst parents.
In addition to the PAF committee each class elects a representative (or two) each academic year. These class reps are an extremely important link between the PAF committee and parents. Class reps are not required to attend committee meetings, but organise parent rotas for the Christmas and summer fayre stalls, coordinate teacher collections at Christmas and end of year, and help out at other PAF events.
